CUIMC Hosts Panel Discussion on National Physician Suicide Awareness Day

On September 17, the Departments of Emergency Medicine and Psychiatry at Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons hosted a virtual panel discussion for all faculty, students and staff at the Columbia and Cornell medical campuses on suicide prevention in physicians. September 17 marks the National Physician Suicide Awareness Day. This year's theme, "One of Us," to highlight the wide spread impact of this public health issue.
